(Updated 12:51pm 17th August 2011)

An air-rifle's been stolen from the back of a van in Selby.

It happened overnight between Tuesday 12th July and Wednesday 13th July 2011 when a white Citroen Berlingo van was broken into on Brayton Lane, Selby and a black Prada wallet containing £240 and various bank cards was stolen.

Investigations by local officers have discovered that one of the victim’s bank cards was used at 1.48am on 13th July at a cash machine outside Tesco Express in Brayton.

The suspect has been captured by CCTV cameras outside the store and police are urging the public to help identify him.

It is believed that after using the card, the offender left in a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
