missing

10:15am 25th July 2011

Police are continuing to ask for help from the public to help locate a missing woman.

77-year-old Marlene WAGSTAFF of Withernsea Road in Withernsea was reported missing at 2151hrs on Friday 22 July 2011.

Mrs Wagstaff was last seen as she left her home address at around 1400hrs on Friday 22 July to go for a walk in the local area.

Police are growing concerned for her welfare due to her age and she suffers from
Alzheimer's.

She is described as being around 5ft 4ins tall, with shoulder length grey to black hair and spectacles.

She was last seen wearing a yellow coloured three-quarter length mackintosh jacket and a blue flowered skirt. It is thought she was wearing a mustard coloured cardigan under her jacket.

Police are continuing to search the local area. The Coastguard and police helicopter have been actively supporting officers in their search.

Police would like to ask people in the Hollym and Holmpton area to check their sheds and out buildings, in case Mrs Wagstaff has taken shelter in one of them.

Mrs Wagstaff or anyone who knows of her current whereabouts or thinks they may have seen her since Friday afternoon is asked to contact Humberside Police on 0845 60 60 222 quoting log 898 22 July 2011.
