Appeal for runners for Great North Run
3:40pm 28th June 2011
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is offering keen would-be Great North runners, the chance to join their team by raising a minimum sponsorship of just £300. Spaces must be allocated before 8th July 2012.
Hearing Dogs offers a fantastic support package to runners, including chance to visit our training centre in Bielby East Yorkshire for a tour of the site, the kennels and the opportunity to meet some of the hearing dogs in training. There will also be a post race reception at the South Shields Charity Village with refreshments.
Hearing dogs offer greater confidence, independence and security to Deaf people by alerting them to everyday sounds such as the doorbell and also by becoming an inseparable companion.
To apply for a place or for further information please contact Lucy Nalton as soon as possible on 01759 322255 or firstname.lastname@example.org
