Teen admits to manslaughter of a North Yorkshire student

A teenager has admitted to the death of a North Yorkshire student.
Daniel Crowther was knocked unconscious after being punched outside a Stokesley pizza shop in the early hours of Saturday May the 14th.
The 17 year old was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Thomas Watson from Woodhouse Road in Guisborough has pleaded guilty to his manslaughter at Leeds Crown Court.
The 17 year old, whose identity could not be revealed before his guilty plea because of his age, will be sentenced at the same court next month.
A Judge has warned Watson he could face a custodial sentence.
