York teenager threatened with knife

A teenagers been threatened with a knife by two hooded youths in York.
It occurred at approximately 9.30pm on Saturday 9th April 2011 when a 14 year old boy was walking along Chesney Fields, behind Gale Lane.
He was approached by two teenage boys, he didn't recognise. One of the boys pushed the victim causing him to fall over.
The older of the two offenders then took what is believed to be a knife from under his hooded top and showed it the victim before concealing it again. The boy then asked if he had any cigarettes. Both of the boys who approached the victim then left without taking anything.
The boy who produced the knife is described as being white, around 15 years old, approximately 5ft 6in tall, with a spotty complexion and short ginger hair. As the time he was wearing a grey "hoodie" top.
The second youth, who did not speak during the incident, is also white, aged approximately 13 and 5ft 4in tall. He was wearing a dark "hoodie" and dark trousers.
PC Adam Fenwick, of the York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
"I would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the incident or can help to identify the two boys involved. I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who lives in the properties who over look Chesney Fields.
"Thankfully the victim was not injured as a result of the incident. However, he was left shaken by the experience."
