Drugs theft at Stamford Bridge chemist

Police are concerned following the theft of drugs from a chemist in Stamford Bridge, York between 6pm on the 11th May and 9am on 12th May 2011.
The drugs were stolen from a bin in the rear yard which is used to store medicines due for disposal.
It is believed someone reached into the premises and stole a large, thick yellow medicines bag which contained a quantity of medicines; some of which may have been out-of-date.
Enquiries are ongoing, and local officers are asking for help from the public for any information relating to this theft.
Police are warning the public of the dangers of taking prescription drugs that have not been specifically prescribed to you, and are advising anyone that may come across this bag of medicines to hand it in immediately at the nearest Police Station or Chemist.
