Biker killed in North Yorkshire named

Police investigating the fatal collision in which a 31-year-old motorcyclist died on Wednesday afternoon (4 May) are appealing for three vital witnesses to come forward.
The collision occurred just after 4pm on the road which leads from the Fox and Rabbit pub to Thornton le Dale, just past the turn-off to Dalby Forest.
The first witness police want to contact is a man who stopped to help at the scene, he was driving a flat-bed, pick-up style vehicle and said he was either a fireman or a retired fireman.
Police would also like to trace a man and a woman who also stopped to help, they were driving a dark-coloured 4x4 vehicle.
Police are appealing for the three people to contact them as soon as possible as they could have vital information which could help the investigation.
Police are also in a position to release the identity of the deceased, he is Tyrone Cunningham, aged 31 from the Dane Park area of Hull.
To recap the circumstances of the collision: Mr Cunningham was riding his black and red Yamaha motorcycle along the road between the turn-off to Dalby Forest Drive and Thornton le Dale, (called Whitbygate as it approaches Thornton le Dale).
Mr Cunningham performed an overtaking manoeuvre before his bike left the road, leaving him with fatal injuries. Investigations are ongoing into the exact circumstances of the collision which also involved a grey Fiat Stilo.
