A famous ale comes to Tadcaster's brewery

One of the North East's most famous ales is about to be brewed down the A1 here in North Yorkshire.
Bosses at Scottish and Newcastle have decided that Newcastle Brown Ale is to be made at the John Smith's Brewery in Tadcaster.
It'll mark the end of an 82 year history for beer making on Tyneside.
The future of 65 staff at the Federation Brewery in Gateshead now also hangs in the balance.
