An inquest in to the death of a North Yorkshire teen, who died suddenly at a house party last year, is getting underway.

16 year old Camilla Irvine was found unconscious at a property in Scorton, near Richmond last September.

Efforts to revive the former Ripon Grammar pupil on the 25th September 2010 failed.

She was pronounced dead at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

A post-mortem examination, to determine Camilla's cause of death, has taken place.

The results are likely to be announced at this inquest.

The 16 year old was described as a "very talented student, with boundless enthusiasm and energy"
