Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the A19.

It occurred at approximately 9.50pm on Thursday 10 March at the slip road for Exelby Services, near Ingleby Arncliffe. The collision involved two vehicles, an HGV and a blue Rover 75 which were both travelling north.

As a result of the incident the Rover left the road, coming to rest in the car park of the service area.

Traffic Constable Neil Cholmondeley, of the force’s Roads Policing Group, said:

“Thankfully noone was injured as a result of the incident.

“The road was busy at the time and I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision.”

If you can assist with this enquiry please contact TC Neil Cholmondeley on 0845 60 60 24 7 quoting reference number 12110038774.
