Army Veterans in Yorkshire now have access to the latest talking therapies thanks to a new service, set up and funded, by NHS Yorkshire and the Humber and Catterick Garrison.
Talking therapy for anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress, with specific consideration to the patient's military background is something that has been previously unavailable to veterans. This treatment can help those who have left the army as well as dependents of serving personnel to prevent their mental health problem from becoming more severe.
