Bad news for flood defences planned for the Leeman Road area of York.

Flood defences in the Leeman Road area have been put on hold indefinitely.
The government's announced it will spend 2 point 1 billion across England in the next 4 years.
But that's a cut of 8 percent.
Projects in York and Thirsk are two that have suffered in the cutbacks.
