Selby lorry driver charged with dangerous driving

A lorry driver from Selby's been charged with causing death by dangerous driving on one of the UK’s busiest motorways.
61 year old, Malcolm Simpson, was travelling along the M6 near Cheshire last September.
39 year old Philip Cawley from Ashton-in-Makerfield in Wigan and 69 year old Thomas Southward from Haydock, were changing a tyre on the hard shoulder of the M6 between junctions 17 and 18.
They were struck by Simpson's HGV and both died.
Malcolm Simpson will now appear before magistrates on February 15th 2011.
