Witness appeal after fatal A629 crash

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A629 at Cononley .

An 83 year old woman, who was seriously injured as a result of the collision, sadly died in the early hours of Monday 24th January 2011.

The collision which occurred between Kildwick and Skipton, near the junction for Cononley, on Tuesday 18th January 2011, involved a silver Ford Fiesta which was heading towards Skipton when it struck a wall at Cononley Lane Ends.

Traffic Constable Chris Doyle, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the collision or saw the Fiesta prior to the incident and has not yet come forward to do so as soon as possible.”
