Following a house fire on Clarence Avenue in Bridlington on Thursday 11th November, which sadly took the lives of three young children, their mother Sam Hudson is today (Tuesday 23rd November 2010) still in a critical but stable condition at Scarborough Hospital.

The bodies of her three children, 9 year old William Beale, five year old Anthony (AJ) Hudson and Maddie Hudson who was 3, have been released by the coroner today.

It is now established the fire was in the front room, however the exact cause of the fire is still unknown.

The fire appears to be a tragic accident.

The joint investigation between Humberside Police and the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service indicates the fire started inside the house and there is no suggestion there was a fault with the house, maintenance or building prior to the fire.

The scene has now been released by police.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
