Fatal collision in Pocklington.

WITNESSES TO ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION
HUMBERSIDE POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that happened on the B1246 between Barmby Moor and Pocklington at around 2226hrs on Tuesday 09 November 2010.
A red coloured Ford Ka was travelling from Pocklington to Barmby Moor when it was in collision with a red and white coloured Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle, that was travelling from York to Pocklington.
The male driver of the Ford Ka suffered minor facial injuries in the collision.
The 26-year-old male rider of the motorcycle, who was from the Pocklington area, was taken to York District Hospital by ambulance, but sadly died a short time later.
A 17-year-old man, believed to be the driver of the Ford KA , was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail to a date in January pending further enquiries.
