Boy, feared drowned in Brazil, went to school in York

A boy, feared drowned off the coast of Brazil, went to a school in Pocklington.
Year ten student, Elliot Newton Deslandes, started at Woldgate College in September.
Originally from Nottingham, his mum still lives in a northern suburb of the city called Arnold.
Elliot was on a trip to Brazil for a religious festival when a large wave struck him and two other Pocklington students.
Elliot's been missing for a week off the coast of an island near to Rio De Janeiro.
