Boost for Primary Schools in York

Ten primary schools in York have been given a hundred-grand to boost their sustainable development.

It's all part of a Bright Futures scheme, funded by the city council and Science City York.

Participating schools are encouraged to involve every pupil and work across the whole curriculum.

The schools will then be asked to showcase the immediate impact of their work and the longer term benefits.



Please find below a list of the 10 schools participating in the Bright Futures Challenge:

*    Derwent School;
*    Carr Infant School;
*    Dunnington C of E Primary School;
*    Archbishop of York's C of E Junior School;
*    Park Grove Primary School;
*    Tang Hall Primary School;
*    St. Oswald's Primary School;
*    Ralph Butterfield Primary School;
*    Headlands Community Primary School; and,
*    St. Wilfrid's RC Primary School.
