Three people in hospital after a crash between Escrick and Skipwith

More details have emerged about today's crash between Escrick and Skipwith (Wednesday 15th September 2010).
The road will remain closed until 8pm after two cars, a Honda and a Subaru, collided.
Two people have been airlifted to hospital.
The driver of the Subaru has chest injuries; he's at York District Hospital.
A female passenger from the Honda, who's in her 60s, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary with leg injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a local man, was also taken by land ambulance to York District Hospital.
North Yorkshire Police have now launched a investigation in to the incident.
