Research out of Leeds Uni in to the lapdancing industry has revealed some interesting facts.
1 in 4 dancers in the UK has a degree, with many doing it for the healthy pay-check rather than through necessity.
An average annual incomes for a dancer in England tops 48 grand.
Now, the research comes at a pivotal time for lap dancing clubs, after a change in the law means venues now have to apply for sexual entertainment licences.
It gives councils more powers to limit the number of clubs in their area - and to take objections from residents into consideration.
