Trial gets underway over death of a Yorkshire shopkeeper

Five men, aged between 18 and 20, have gone on trial at Bradford Crown Court today charged with murdering a Huddersfield shopkeeper.
Gurmail Singh died of head injuries following a robbery at his shop in the Cowcliffe area of the town back in February.
The 63 year old was found in his store having been struck with a weapon, believed to be a hammer.
All of the accused are still to enter a plea.
