Calls for drivers to be re-tested

A study in York has found we're 25 per cent more likely to have an accident if we haven't been behind the wheel for half a year.
According to research firm PCP who found that jumps upto 43 per cent if we've been off for 12 months.
There are now calls for regular re-testing of motorists to check our observation, control and speed.
