York's Barbican is back up for discussion

York's Barbican is back up for discussion

5:36am 22nd September 2009

Over a £100,000 a year, that's how much it's costing York city council to keep the barbican centre shut.

The future of the site goes before yet another authority meeting later today.

Councillors are still trying to come up with a plan of what should be done with the site - which closed at the end of 2004.

York Mp Hugh Bailey - says the lack of decision making has  been dragging on for too long.
