Ryanair expand its services out of Leeds Bradford

Leeds Bradford Airport is the only airport in the UK where Ryanair are expanding it's fleet.
Today the airline have announced they'll be running 13 routes over the Winter, compared to last Christmas when they ran just 3, growing their passenger numbers upto one million a year.
Officials say it'll also sustain up to 1,000 jobs at in the Yorkshire region.
In Leeds Bradford today, Ryanair's Michael Cawley said:
"Ryanair is delighted to launch its first extended winter schedule from Leeds Bradford which offers passengers 13 routes, including exciting new routes to Barcelona, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Gdansk and Fuerteventura. Ryanair will now deliver 1million passengers p.a. and sustain 1,000 local jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport. Our new Barcelona route will replace our Girona route to provide easier access to great value city breaks this winter.
To celebrate the launch of our winter schedule and our new routes we are releasing 500,000 £9 seats for travel in September and October on over 500 Ryanair routes throughout Europe."
Leeds Bradford Airport's John Parkin said,
"We are delighted to unveil an exciting new Ryanair winter schedule from Leeds Bradford with a great mix of low fares routes to winter sun and city break destinations as well as connections to the East and West of Ireland. Leeds Bradford is bucking the trend in the UK with Ryanair growth which will see more Ryanair passengers, flight and routes from Leeds Bradford this winter."
