Housing concerns in Clifton
5:34pm 10th June 2010
There's concerns a housing development in Clifton has lost it's funding.
In January the then Housing Minister, John Healey, promised York would receive a grant of 1.25 million to build 21 new council houses.
This cash was to be matched pound-for-pound by the City of York Council.
But now the new coalition government's announced all projects are on hold pending a decision later this month.
York Central MP, Hugh Bayley, wants reassurances this scheme won't be scapped.
