The aunt and brother of an 8 year old boy, who died after falling into a River Wharfe at Bolton Abbey on Saturday, have paid tribute, describing him as a "popular and loveable rogue".
Aaron Page, from Pontefract, got into difficulty at the beauty spot near Skipton at the weekend.
On lookers told Minster FM, one minute he was playing, the next minute he disappeared under the water and didn't resurface.
In a statement Bolton Abbey said it was "saddened" by Aaron's death.
A spokesman said: "On behalf of the estate, all our thoughts are with the family at this time."
