The mighty whites have done it - but only just.
Never wanting to make it easy Leeds we're reduced to 10 men in their crunch match against Bristol Rovers.
Rovers went ahead and Max Gradel was sent off in the first half after an incident with Bristol Rovers defender Daniel Jones. The Leeds player initially refused to leave the pitch and had to be restrained by his team-mates as he angrily pursued the referee.
10 men of Leeds found the resolve to turn defeat into victory and secure the promotion their supporters so badly craved. Second half goals from Howson and Beckford secured the match.
Final score 2-1 to Leeds. After the match manager Simon Grayson was doused in champagne.
Pop star fans?
Meanwhile as the whites have stormed the league, theres a bid for them to storm the charts as well.
As Leeds United fans celebrate storming back into the Championship- there's a plan to storm the music charts too. Classic team song "LeedsLeedsLeeds" is being re-released next weekend.
It's reckoned it'll take ten thousand sales to push the track into the top ten.... and over ten thousand fans have already joined a Facebook group promising to buy it.
