York City off to Wembley

York City's play off semi final victory was ruined by violence by Luton Fans after the final whistle.
The Minstermen were at Luton's ground and beat the homeside one nil.
Its sends them through to the final at wembley and condems Luton to another season in the Blue Square Premier.
Home supporters invaded the pitch after the 1-0 loss pelting the visiting players with missiles. CITY Striker Richard Brodie was apparently struck with a coin and the squad had to escape through the back of a stand. Seven people were arrested.
Later today the FA will today look at footage of crowd trouble before commenting on what happend.
PROMOTION BID ON TRACK
One more step along the road to promotion for the Minstermen yesterday as they faced Luton in the seond leg play off.
A Chris Carruthers second half strike was enough to do it. Meaning York City won one nil, which is a 2-0 victory on aggregate.
Manager Martin Foyle will now lead his men out at Wembley in the play-off final against his former club Oxford United on Sunday, May 16.
