Tears in court over the Norton Flat Fire

Tears in court over the Norton Flat Fire

6:27pm 28th April 2010
(Updated 6:18pm 29th April 2010)

A stable hand, who escaped a fire that killed two jockeys from Norton, has broken down in tears in court.

18 year old Lizzie Murphy left Leeds Crown Court in tears this afternoon as an audio clip of her 999 call was played to jurors.

Apprentice jockeys Jamie Kyne and Jan Wilson died in the fire in September last year.

Peter Brown denies starting the blaze in revenge for being refused entry to a party.
