Woman killed at Flaxton level crossing

A woman's been struck by a train at the level crossing at Flaxton in York.

The British Transport Police were alerted to the incident just after 1pm.

It's being treated as non-suspicious; officers believe it was a suicide.

An investigation's now been launched to establish the woman's identity.

Train services between York to Scarborough have been disrupted.
