Flood defence scheme on display in Leeman Road
5:44am 23rd March 2010
All eyes are on plans for a York flood defence scheme to protect residents on Leeman Road.
Residents there were last hit really badly back in 2000.
The £6.5 million proposals would reduce flood risk to 550 properties.
This afternoon details are on display at St Barnabas Church Hall.
One of the options is increasing the height and extent of the existing defences.
