Multi million pound unit ready for use at York District

York hospital's brand new £3million aseptics unit will be fully operational next month.
The suite of clean rooms provide a completely sterile environment for medicines to be prepared in.
It'll allow specialist to customise drugs for patients on site, providing better treatment.
The purpose built gene therapies facility is the first in Yorkshire and one of only a few nationwide.
