Kids teaching kids in Selby
11:29am 8th March 2010
A group of Year 8 students from Selby High have been educating primary school kids about climate change.
They wrote a book based on a polar bear's adventures to save his home from melting, and have read it to local youngsters.
More workshops are planned with a second book written about a scarecrow made out of recycled materials.
12 year old Harriet Winstanley is part of the team. She's happy to be educating younger pupils.
The project's been so successful, the students have won a place in the finals of the NPower Green SOS competition. They'll find out later this month if they've won.
