Man Punched in The Face in York

The victim, a local man aged in his 20s, was assaulted by an another man at around 3.20am in the early hours of Friday 5 December 2014 outside Barratt’s shoe shop.

There were several people around at the time, including a woman who was seen walking behind the suspect and was then seen to join up with him further along Parliament Street.

Officers are appealing to her and to anyone else who was in the area at the time, to contact them.

The victim was knocked to the ground during the assault but did not require hospital treatment.
