Selby Bypass Could Be Resurfaced in February
11:56am 13th October 2014
Selby's pothole ridden bypass could be resurfaced in late February or March next year, Minster FM can reveal.
The county council says it cannot do the work sooner as it is still having legal talks with the contractor which laid the surface ten years ago.
The authority is believed to be concerned that if it resurfaces the road, it could potentially damage the chances of the contractor contributing towards any repairs to the road.
Selby MP Nigel Adams has been campaigning for the bypass to be resurfaced and tells Minster FM he is hopeful the work will be done in the next few months.
