Teenage Girl Grabbed by Man in York

Detectives in York are appealing for information after an indecent assault in the city.
It occurred around 7.50pm on Saturday 4 October 2014, on Huntington Road near the roundabout with Monkgate.
The victim, a 15-year-old York girl, was inappropriately touched by a man who pulled her towards him. However, she managed to break free.
The suspect is described as being a black man, aged in his late teens, with a skinny build and short braided hair. He was wearing a cream coloured jacket and was carrying a backpack.
Detective Inspector Alan Rowan, of York CID said: “If you were in the Huntington Road area around the time of the incident, and believe you recognise the description of the suspect, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”
