Appeal After 85-Year-Old Woman Dies After Copmanthorpe Collision

The collision happened at 5.30pm on Thursday 28 August 2014, at Manor Heath and Hallcroft Lane crossroads.
Doreen Myers from Leeds was a front seat passenger in a blue Skoda Fabia which was in collision with a black Toyota Yaris.
She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries, where she sadly died on 10 September 2014.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw either of the cars before the collision, or witnessed the actual crash, to contact them.

The woman driver of the Skoda, who is also from Leeds, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with slight injuries and has since been discharged
The driver from the Toyota suffered slight injuries.
At the time of the crash, the road was closed to allow emergency services to attend to the casualties and to allow collision investigators to examine the scene. It reopened at around 10pm.
