Possible change of charges in relation to Norton Jockey deaths

Possible change of charges in relation to Norton Jockey deaths

2:04pm 23rd February 2010
(Updated 6:41pm 23rd February 2010)

A man, accused of the murders of two trainee jockeys in a flat fire in Norton, may face alternative charges.

Peter Brown was up at Leeds Crown Court earlier in relation to the deaths of Jamie Kyne and Jan Wilson.

It's thought prosecutors are now considering charges of manslaughter and arson with intent to endanger life instead.

The 37 year old's been remanded in custody and his trial's been set for April.
