Concerns over private fostering in North Yorkshire

Up to 8,000 children in Britain are in the care of someone who's not been check by social services.
They're the shocking stats out today and it's concerned officials in North Yorkshire.
David Molesworth's from North Yorkshire County Council and oversees private fostering.
He says following tragic cases like that of Victoria Climbie and Baby-P, safeguards need to be tighter.
The council's calling for families to register any kids under 16 in their care.
