Arsenal Pendant, Kids Football Boots and RAF Book Found After York Burglary
3:39pm 7th July 2014
Detectives are trying to trace the owners of some stolen property that was left behind during a burglary in York.
It is believed that the items were stolen from somewhere else and discarded at the scene of a sneak-in burglary at a property on Jacobi Close, in Clifton, on 29 June 2014.
It is believed that the items were discarded in order for the offender to take an X-Box and a racing bike from the address.
Among the items left behind was an RAF Service and Relief book, which was given to service personnel when leaving the forces. It is likely to have sentimental value to somebody but has not been reported stolen.
Also left behind were a number of pairs of children’s football boots and a chain with an Arsenal pendant on it.
Officers are keen trace the owners of the stolen items and are urging people to come forward if they believe they belong to them.
