Malton Pensioner Hurt in Norton Collision

Malton police are appealing for witnesses and information after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Railway Street in Norton.

It happened at the junction with Riverside View at around 9.50am on Thursday 19 June 2014.

It involved a grey coloured Range Rover driven by a man in his 80s, which collided with the pedestrian who was crossing Railway Street.

The casualty, a woman in her 70s from the Malton area, sustained minor injuries and was treated locally.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle or pedestrian prior to the incident, to contact the them.
