Appeal to trace driver after Layerthorpe collision

It occurred at around 4.40pm on Thursday 29 May 2014, on Layerthorpe.
The collision involved a pedal cycle and a green Citroen car.
As a result of the incident, the man riding the bicycle fell from his bike, suffering minor cuts and bruises which did not require medical treatment.
PC Shannon Stanton, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you are the person who was driving the Citroen on Layerthorpe, it is possible that you are unaware that this collision took place and I urge you to contact me straight away.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or can help to identify the driver and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
