Only Three in Ten Vote in EU Elections in North Yorkshire

Only around three in ten people in North Yorkshire voted in yesterday's European elections, with York having the fifth lowest turnout in the region.

The turnout figures have been released ahead of European election votes being counted on Sunday night.
