It occurred between 12pm and 3pm on Tuesday 13 May 2014, from a house on Bar Lane, Hambleton.
The thieves stole an Apple iPad.
Detective Constable Lee Maeer, of Selby CID, said: “If you saw any suspicious activity in the Hambleton area around the time of the burglary, I urge you to contact the police straight away.
“I would like to remind homeowners that it is important they keep doors and windows secure, even if they are at home.
