York City striker Michael Coulson has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
Michael, who's 26 years old and from Scarborough, was offered a new contract after his performances in the Play-Off chase in the second half of the season, and scored some crucial goals.
In 2013/14 he made 36 appearances and scored seven goals, including a fabulous free-kick against Newport County AFC that sealed City's place in the Play-Offs and earned him the "Outstanding Moment Of The Season" award at Monday night's presentation evening. Michael was also nominated as Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month for March in recognition of his excellent performances in a York City shirt.
Michael Coulson said about his new contract, "I'm delighted to have re-signed for the club. I think my hard work over the season has paid off, and all I wanted to do is stay at York. I can't wait to get started again in Pre-Season".
