CCTV Released After Mobiles and Money Stolen in Sherburn in Elmet

Selby police have issued images of a man they need to speak to after a number of thefts near the town.
They occurred between 2.25pm and 3.40pm on Saturday 19 April 2014, from the home side’s changing room at the White Rose Sports Club, Sherburn-in-Elmet.
Someone entered the premises and stole mobile phones, money and wallets.
Thefts of money and mobile phones from nine tents at Squires’ Milk Bar camp site were also reported on the morning of Saturday 19 April 2014.
It is not known if the two incidents are connected.
The man officers need to trace is described as being white, aged between 30 and 40, about 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, with brown hair which is bald on top and cut short at the back and sides. He was wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
PC Nicola Gill, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you are the man caught on camera and you are not responsible for these thefts, please get in touch with me immediately, so that I can eliminate you from my enquiries.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who can help to identify the man and urge them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
PC Gill added: “If you have been offered mobile phones in unusual circumstances I ask you to contact the police as soon as possible.
