Firefighters Tackle Large Fire In Leeds

Firefighters in Leeds are tackling a large fire at a building used for storing chemicals The fire is in the Armley area of the city, on an industrial estate. Reports say thick black plumes of smoke where seen, triggering warnings for locals to keep doors and windows shut. There are concerns that potential hazardous waste is stored at the site.
It's believed the fire began at a packaging firm, and spread to a chemical recycling plant. Fire crews were called at around 1am this morning with 80 firefighters attending the scene.
