RSPCA faces a legal bill after losing a battle over inheritance with a woman from Northallerton.
Leeds Crown Court today heard Doctor Christine Gill's spent more than £900,000 to overturned her parents' will.
Her folks had left their two-million-pound estate to the charity, but it was overturned when evidence emerged that her father had coerced her mother into making the document.
The RSPCA has now been ordered to pay the majority of a 1.3 million pound legal bill.
A written judgment will be released next week.
