It's been described as one of the biggest raids in North Yorkshire's policing history.
A travelers camp at Clifton Moor's been stormed by over 160 officers on a massive drugs operation.
Minster FM's Tracy Gee spoke to Chief Inspector Dave Hannan.
Chief Inspector Hannan told Minster FM the raid, codename Kineto, was as a direct result of Operation Gatecrasher that was one of the forces most concerted narcotics busting operations in York.
He says they're listening to the concerns of the public and acting on that information.
Nine people have been arrested so far in connection with the raids at the Clifton Moor travelers site and a further arrest is expected.
