Police Appeal After 17 Year Old Cyclist Hurt in York Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a road traffic collision in York.
The cyclist, aged 17, fell off his bike after being cut up by a grey or silver van at the junction of Holgate Road and Blossom Street sometime between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Friday 7 March 2014.
The van driver did not stop at the scene of the collision and continued along Blossom Street before tuning right onto Nunnery Lane.
The cyclist suffered a dead leg and an injury to his back in the incident. He did not require hospital treatment.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or the driver of the van to contact them with information.
